The moon goose analogue in Italy consists of a lunar landscape, several experiments to be conducted by the geese and a habitat with control room, equipped with instruments for the communication with the ground control room in UK (flexible).

The REX-U (Realtime EXchange Unit) is situated in the entrance of the moon goose habitat in Italy. The REX-U establishs data transfer between the Moon Geese and the control room / exhibition space. The unit enables various signal transfers such as morse code and other types of interspecies communications.

The IGM 9000 - (Intergalactic Goose Machine 9000) is the system core / mother-board. It holds many of the crucial components of the system, providing the connectors for other peripherals.
